True Mountain Laurel, a Vancouver folk-country supergroup, perform live at The Louisiana with a support act to be confirmed.
True Mountain Laurel play The Louisiana on Wednesday 10 February 2027, with a support act still to be confirmed. The show is presented by Crosstown Concerts.
True Mountain Laurel is a supergroup formed by Haley Blais and Sam Lynch, born out of late-night harmonies, shared voice memos and a long friendship rooted in mutual admiration. Their debut project, Angel So Bad, blends Sam's poetic introspection with Haley's razor-sharp lyrical intimacy into dust-swept folk-country songs about longing, growth and connection, drawing from their respective solo careers. What began as casual writing sessions grew into a collaborative ritual of trading lines over coffee and recording scrappy demos, free from pressure or pretence.
Their sound is warm and minimal — acoustic guitars, brushed drums and pedal steel — and they name Gillian Welch, Lucinda Williams and early-2000s Canadian singer-songwriters as influences. The duo hails from Vancouver, Canada.
