The Cheap Thrills live gig at The Croft, presented by DHP Family, with Danny Griffiths and The Red Checks.
The Cheap Thrills play The Croft on Wednesday 14 October, presented by DHP Family. They're a Liverpool band still in their teenage years, and this is part of their Keep Cheap Tour, which follows their debut album keep cheap, released on 18 September. The night is shared with Danny Griffiths and The Red Checks.
They've come a fair way for a band of their age. They've already played rammed headline shows at O2 Academy, won the Liverpool Sound City Youth Live Award, and played the Calling Out stage at Kendal Calling. Since then they've played in London and supported breaking international touring acts. The Guardian described their sound as a 'messy tumble of garage rock and nifty turn of phrase, a blast live too'.
Because this is part of the Keep Cheap Tour, the set will be built around keep cheap, the debut album they put out just a few weeks before the show. It's a good time to catch them if you've been following the record since it dropped on 18 September.
