Comedy troupe Sometimes We Wear Shirts bring their knock-knock sketch show with improv to Alma Tavern Theatre.
Sometimes We Wear Shirts bring their new show, Knock Knock, to The Alma Tavern and Theatre in Clifton on Tuesday 27 October. It's a sketch show with improv and silly games woven into the seams, and the title plays on the 'who is behind your door?' joke. The trio describes the piece as 'an ancient, transformative library of sketches documenting their relationship with humanity, spanning from creation to the ultimate restoration of the world'.
Behind the name are Gabe, Joe and Talek, a Bristol-based sketch comedy trio. They've each been involved in theatre, comedy and improv over the last few years, but this is the first time the three have worked together. They cite the Australian sketch phenomenon Aunty Donna, Mitchell & Webb, and improv shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway? as influences, and they've set out to get the audience involved and laughing.

Before they settled on the name, they were known as 'The Melting Pot'. Knock Knock is their first show together under the new moniker, and it's the first time you'll see the three of them sharing a stage. The set runs from 8:00 PM to 9:15 PM at The Alma Tavern and Theatre, Clifton, BS8 2HY.
