Bristol native Roni Size performs with his live band Reprazent, supported by Fabio & Grooverider, marking the 30th anniversary of the album 'New Forms'.
Roni Size Reprazent play Lloyds Amphitheatre on Friday 25 June 2027, starting at 17:00. It's the first headliner announced for Bristol Sounds, and for a Bristol native, it's a homecoming with a specific anniversary attached: the show marks 30 years since Reprazent's Mercury Prize-winning debut album, New Forms. That record reached the UK Top 10 and gave us tracks like 'Time Stretch' and the Top 20 hit 'Brown Paper Bag'.
Roni Size is a drum'n'bass icon and the owner of Full Cycle, and his sets are known for playing to the room and the crowd, often in unexpected places. He once staged a set in a disused Welsh slate mine 1,375 feet below the surface, recorded with geophones and hydrophones. Conal Dodds of Crosstown Concerts, who promoted the act's Bristol shows back in the 90s, describes this as its first ever open-air headline in the city.
Support comes from Fabio & Grooverider, the London duo billed as the 'godfathers' of drum & bass, who shaped the scene through club nights like Rage and award-winning radio shows. The date closes a UK tour, so this is the final stop of the run.

It's a full live band on the bill, not just a DJ set, and the whole thing kicks off at 17:00 at Lloyds Amphitheatre (Canon's Marsh Amphitheatre) on Harbourway. With the early start and the open-air setting, it's one of the first big outdoor dates of the summer.
