A new family theatre adventure for children aged 3-8 from Stuff & Nonsense Theatre Company, using puppetry and visual storytelling.
Stuff & Nonsense Theatre Company bring Rabbit & Rey and The Lost Things to The Wardrobe Theatre from Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 October, with shows at 11am and 2pm each day. It's a new family adventure aimed at children aged 3-8 and their families, and it runs for an hour with no interval.
If the name Stuff & Nonsense sounds familiar, it's because they're the team behind The Gingerbread Man and The Enormous Turnip. This is their latest, and it follows Rey, an imagination expert, a question-asker and a glorious misplacer of everything, and Rabbit, a wise and fiercely loyal bunny who is always there when the world feels too much. Together they set off to find all the things they've ever lost, only to discover that the trail of Lost Things extends far beyond them and that other people have Lost Things too.
They describe it as a funny, heart-tugging and brilliantly bonkers show that mixes puppetry, visual storytelling and twists of the imagination. Along the way it looks at our brilliant, often bewildering brains and what it means to live life a little out of order, until losing things becomes the path rather than the problem. One audience member called it 'amazing - so funny, clever, totally entertaining'.
