Indie-folk duo Quiet Houses perform live at Rough Trade Bristol, with special guest May Payne.
Quiet Houses play Rough Trade Bristol on Friday 16 October, with special guests May Payne opening the night. The show is presented by Communion ONE.
Quiet Houses are an indie-folk duo made up of Edinburgh-bred, London-based Jamie Stewart and Hannah Elliott, who formed in early 2018. Their songs sit in the wistful folk sound-world of Laura Marling and Belle & Sebastian, paired with the quirky lyricism of Courtney Barnett and Kurt Vile. They released their debut EP Armchair Tree in May 2019 and have been championed by Ryan Paul at BBC Introducing Manchester, Shell Zenner at Amazing Radio, Tom Robinson at BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing Scotland.
