Bristol-based psychedelic rock n' roll band Pack of Animals perform live at The Louisiana, with support from Bloom and SLAK.
Pack of Animals play The Louisiana on Tuesday 13 October, with bloom and SLAK supporting. It's a Bristol band playing a Bristol room, and they've got a fair bit of ground to cover in a short space of time.
They're a six-piece rock band that came together about 18 months ago, after all the members moved to the city to study music. Frontman Theo Munro describes their sound as psychedelic rock n' roll, and he names The Jesus and Mary Chain and the Stone Roses as key inspirations. It's a loud, British, anthemic sound that doesn't hide what it is. They've built a reputation as one of the city's most electric live acts, and that's backed up by the stages they've shared: they've supported Miles Kane, Overpass, The Guest List, Maruja, Brógeal and L'Objectif on their UK and European tours, and have sold out several Bristol venues along the way.
They're currently working on their debut releases with producer Michael Clarke of Big Special, and they've got a UK tour planned for later in the year, so this is one of the dates leading up to that. The night is presented by Live Nation & SJM, and it's 16+, so under-18s need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
