Intimate solo gig by Jamie T at Electric Bristol, supporting his new album 'Ghosts (100 Days of Morning)'.
Jamie T plays Electric Bristol on Sunday 18 October, an intimate solo date presented by Rough Trade. It's part of a run of small shows supporting his new album, Ghosts (100 Days of Morning), released via Polydor. The set runs around 45 minutes, and general admission tickets don't come with a copy of the record.
Born Jamie Alexander Treays in Wimbledon in 1986, he's a South London artist whose laid-back hip-hop vocal phrasing and eclectic bedroom D.I.Y. palette draw on a wide range of sounds: vintage Jamaican ska, the Beastie Boys, Mike Skinner, Damon Gough, Tina Turner and the Clash. He debuted in the early 2000s with the Salvador 7" single in 2004, followed by the Betty & the Selfish Sons EP, both on his own Pacemaker Records imprint. His 2007 album Panic Prevention went platinum, and he's since released three more Top Four U.K. albums into the 2020s, including The Theory of Whatever in 2022.
