A technical evening for architectural professionals on facade design, fire protection and gateway support, with presentations and networking.
RGB Facades are hosting a technical evening for architectural professionals at Watershed on Thursday 22 October, from 6pm to 10pm. It's called Integrated by Design: Brick Facade Systems, Fire Safety & Gateway Support, and it's aimed at anyone working in facade design, specification, detailing and compliance.
The night is built around the critical interfaces between architectural intent, facade system design, passive fire protection products and regulatory delivery. A good chunk of the session looks at how early-stage decisions affect buildability, performance and final delivery — the kind of things that can bite you later if they aren't sorted up front. The discussion draws on product certification, Ash & Lacy tested systems and supplementary fire test data, and it also touches on the growing importance of robust Gateway-stage information, which is becoming a bigger part of the regulatory landscape.
On the presentations and discussion side, you'll hear from Ash & Lacy, RGB Facades and Siderise. The four-hour in-person format mixes those presentations with open discussion, so it's as much about asking questions and talking through specific scenarios as it is about listening. The whole thing rounds off with complimentary drinks and street food, which gives you a chance to keep the conversation going with the other people in the room.
