Harriet performs new interpretations of her favourite 1970s sounds with her live band, blending classic hits with her own nostalgic original material.
Harriet plays St George's Bristol on Sunday 1 November, with her live band. The show is called Trying To Get The Feeling Again, the same title as her album, and it's a set of new interpretations of her favourite 1970s sounds.
She's an English singer-songwriter known for a wide vocal range, and the seventies are where she started. She grew up on classics like the Carpenters and the Beatles, coming from a music-loving family and inheriting her father's passion for singing and discovering new artists. That background eventually led her to find her own voice and start writing her own songs.
On the night, she'll thread together hits by the Carpenters, Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Carole King, Barry Manilow and Christopher Cross, alongside her own nostalgic original material. She bills it as a journey back to the seventies, and the show leaves room for the stories behind her connection to the music. It follows a sold-out 30-date UK tour in 2025 and the single 'Mountain', which she co-wrote with John Bettis — the writer who penned 'Top Of The World', 'Goodbye To Love' and 'Yesterday Once More' with Richard Carpenter.
