Belfast post-punk and noise rock four-piece Enola Gay play The Full Moon and Attic Bar with DITZ, Iguana Death Cult and Earth Tongue.
Enola Gay play The Full Moon and Attic Bar on Saturday 17 October, with DITZ, Iguana Death Cult and Earth Tongue on the bill. It's a full run of four bands, so you'll be in for a long one if you stick around from the first act through to the headliners.
Enola Gay are a Belfast-based Irish post-punk and noise rock four-piece who formed in late 2019. They've built a fair bit of a name for themselves since then, playing IMW, ESNS and SXSW, and they're bringing that same sound over to Bristol. Their approach pairs socially aware vocals with a reverb-soaked, buzz-saw guitar layered over a driving rhythm that draws as much on left-field electronica as on the post-punk heroes of the late 1970s and early 1980s. It's a sound that sits somewhere between the dancefloor and the mosh pit, with the electronics pulling it in a different direction than your standard guitar band.
They aren't alone on the night. DITZ, Iguana Death Cult and Earth Tongue all open for them, so the evening starts well before Enola Gay take the stage. If you're coming for the headliners, it's worth arriving early enough to catch the support acts too.

The whole thing kicks off at 5:00 PM at The Full Moon and Attic Bar, so it's an early start for a Saturday night. If you're planning on staying for the full line-up, you'll want to be there from the beginning.
