Indie guitar-rock band Editors perform live at The Prospect Building as part of their 2027 UK & Ireland tour.
Editors play The Prospect Building on Tuesday 9 March, part of their 2027 UK and Ireland tour. It's a single-band bill, so they're the only act on the night.
They've been around for over twenty years, starting out as Snowfield in 2003 after the members met at university in Birmingham. They helped lead the post-punk revival of the mid-2000s, and Munich was one of their chart-toppers from that era. Since then, they've put out seven studio albums, all of which reached the UK top 10. Their debut, The Back Room (2005), earned a Mercury Prize nomination; the 2007 follow-up An End Has A Start hit number one and picked up a Brit Award nomination; and 2009's In This Light And On This Evening also topped the UK album charts. Their most recent record, EBM, came out in 2022.
Across those albums, they've built their sound on a mix of guitars and synths, and they're one of the UK's most loved and acclaimed indie guitar-rock acts. This show is one stop on a tour taking them across the UK and Ireland throughout 2027.
