British pop band East 17 perform live at the O2 Academy Bristol on their Boys Are Back Again Tour, with support from Blazin' Squad.
East 17 are playing the O2 Academy Bristol on Friday 20 November, part of their Boys Are Back Again tour. They're not coming alone, either — early-2000s favourites Blazin' Squad, the group behind 'Crossroads' and 'Flip Reverse', are supporting them on the bill.
If you're wondering where to start with East 17, they formed in 1992 and took their name from the Walthamstow postcode E17. They went on to become one of Britain's biggest boy bands of the nineties, blending pop with hip-hop and R&B. Over the years they scored 18 UK Top 20 singles and four Top 10 albums, including House of Love and Steam. Their festive classic 'Stay Another Day' spent five weeks at number one and took the UK Christmas number one in 1994.
The line-up on stage will be original member Terry Coldwell alongside Robbie Craig and Joe Livermore. With Blazin' Squad opening, it's a double bill that pulls from two different eras of the UK pop scene in one night.
