An alternative market featuring local crafts, folklore-inspired gifts, alternative fashion, dark fantasy art, live music, hands-on workshops, street performers and immersive entertainment.
The Curious Bazaar returns to The Trinity on Sunday 6 December, from 11:00 to 16:00. It's more than just an alternative market: they describe it as an experience of charm, creativity and connection, a haven for the weird and wonderful where curious minds and creative souls come together.
The old church halls of The Trinity are decked in twinkling lights, gothic candles and woven wreaths, and the stalls offer twisted tinsel, handmade magic and festive wonder with a shadowy edge. You'll find local crafts, folklore-inspired gifts, alternative fashion, dark fantasy art and artisan goods you won't find on the high street. Beyond the shopping, there's live music, hands-on workshops, street performers, prize draws and immersive entertainment, and every hour brings something new so that no two markets ever feel the same.
Every edition supports a local charity, with a percentage of the door money donated and a free promotional space given to the cause. If you're feeling particularly inquisitive, you can also indulge in a tarot reading to see what 2027 has in store.
