Bristol Sounds has announced the first big name for its 2027 line-up: Roni Size Reprazent, who will headline on Friday 25 June 2027 at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre on the Harbourside. It is the first show the festival has confirmed for next year, and the lineup is still to be completed.

The night marks 30 years since New Forms came out in June 1997. The album went on to win the Mercury Prize, which was a big deal for a drum and bass record at the time. The Bristol-born producer Roni Size built Reprazent as a collective rather than a solo project, with a rotating cast of MCs and musicians and a focus on live instruments, and this show will feature a full live band. Joining them as support are the pioneering DJs Fabio and Grooverider, who have been central to the genre for decades.
Tickets were listed at £64.02, and the 25 June 2027 show is already sold out. If you want to try for a ticket, you can join the waiting list through Tixel, which is the official resale partner. The accessible tickets have also sold out, so anyone who needs access arrangements should email access@crosstownconcerts.com. The event is presented by Crosstown Concerts, and the Ticketmaster page lists the dates and line-up as they stand.
Doors open at 17:00. The amphitheatre is outdoors and all-standing, with no overhead cover, so it is worth bringing suitable clothing for a summer evening in Bristol. Children under 5 are not allowed on site, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Each concert has a dedicated accessibility area with a seated section and a viewing platform, and rubber mats have been laid over the cobbles to make the route easier to walk. Dogs are not permitted, and there is no readmittance once you have left the site.
The venue is at Harbourway, BS1 5LL, on the Harbourside. The festival has only just started to reveal its programme, so further names may follow in the coming months, but for now the 25 June show is the one to know about. Anyone who wants to go will need to act quickly, given that the main date has already sold out.
