
A Grade II listed building in the Greek Revival style, built between 1830 and 1832. It was formerly the headquarters of Brighton Borough Council and is still used for some meetings of the successor Brighton and Hove City Council. It features fine porticoes with fluted ionic columns outside and an impressive central staircase and atrium inside. It also contains the Old Police Cells Museum in the basement. It is used for ceremonies, conferences, and art events.
