Night of progressive rock with Yoshizawa, The Petrov Boys and Fellroot at the Komedia Studio, a standing show for ages 14 and over.
Yoshizawa, The Petrov Boys and Fellroot share a bill at Komedia Studio on Thursday 26 November. It's a triple header of progressive rock, and the three bands bring quite different flavours to the same night.
Yoshizawa are an experimental post-prog band based in Leeds, and they describe their work as being focused on idiosyncratic composition and authentic performances. The Petrov Boys are a six-piece known for a genre-blurring fusion of Balkan, jazz, rock, funk and metal. Fellroot draws on Celtic world and folklore to make dark, heavy sounds. Between them, the night is billed as 'progressive rock, regressive prog with a dash of Celtic world'.
