To give you a bit of context on who is playing, Yaang is a trio coming down from Manchester, known for blending punk, motorik, and art rock elements. They are sharing the bill with Noon Garden, which is the psych-pop project led by Charles Prest. The local representation comes from Club Magic, an indie-electronic band based right here in Brighton. Rounding out the group is Espuma, a six-piece international ensemble that works with a fusion of psychedelia, Latin rhythms, and folk influences. It is quite a broad spectrum of genres for a single evening.
The event takes place at The Hope & Ruin, located at 11-12 Queens Rd. Doors are scheduled to open at 19:30, and the night is set to wrap up by 23:00. Since this is a venue-based show, it is strictly for those aged 18 and over. Tickets are priced at £11.00. It is a straightforward setup for a Thursday night if you want to catch a few different bands without committing to a massive festival schedule.
