A celebratory evening of song with Resound and Rebelles bringing their eclectic mix of styles and genres.
Resound and Rebelles are back together for Very Mary Xmas, two nights at St Luke's Church on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 December. It's a celebratory evening of song, and the two groups are uniting again rather than appearing separately, so the whole thing is built around them working as one.
What they're bringing is their trademark eclectic mix of styles and genres, and they describe it as all played with a twist. That's the best way to put it: they pull from a wide range of sources and then shift them slightly, so you're rarely hearing a song exactly as you'd expect it. It's a celebratory night, and the mix of styles is the thing they're known for, so that's what's taking centre stage here.
