Hidden Herd music discovery night featuring Uncle Junior, Lindow Man, Dura Mater and Home Audio. Strictly 18+ event.
Uncle Junior, Lindow Man, Dura Mater and Home Audio play The Hope & Ruin on Saturday 21 November, as part of Hidden Herd's new music discovery night. It's a four-band bill, and the night is strictly 18+.
Uncle Junior are a London trio — Oli Noble, Eric Rye Lees and Isaac West — who came out of the capital's DIY and underground scene. They've been championed by BBC Radio 6 Music, So Young, Clash and Crack, and they've put out the pop single Melt Me.
Lindow Man are a Brighton four-piece formed this year by Mina-Mae Alexander and Charlie West, who started the band out of the ashes of Van Zon. They describe their sound as melding post-hardcore dissonance and mathy rhythms with neo-classical strings. Dura Mater are a groove-focused, experimental art-rock collective formed in Nottingham and now based in London, blending avant-garde jazz, funk, psych and prog. Home Audio are a Brighton three-piece exploring indie, folk and art-rock, whose debut single The Sandman launched live at Brighton's Pink Moon.
