UK Queen bring their sensational 2-hour live show packed with hits and classics for any Queen fan at the Komedia Basement.
UK Queen play Komedia for the first time on Sunday 20 December, with a two-hour live show built around Queen hits and classics. They've billed it as a must for any fan, so it's a long set that doesn't hold back on the songs most people know best.
It's their Brighton debut, and the venue is Komedia Basement at 44-47 Gardner Street, right in the heart of the North Laine. If you've spent any time around here, you'll know the spot — it's been Brighton's premier independent entertainment venue for just under 30 years, and it runs one of the largest and most diverse arts and entertainment programmes in the UK, with more than 700 performances of comedy, music, cabaret and children's theatre. It's home to the resident comedy shows Komedia Comedy Club, Comic Boom and Bent Double, and has won the Chortle Comedy Award for Best Venue in the South a record 17 times. The venue is also a regular feature of The Great Escape and houses Komedia Productions, the charitable arm that supports the Sundae Club kids' programme and creative workshops for young people, as well as two performance spaces and the Duke's at Komedia Cinema, which is operated by Picturehouse.

Doors open at 7:30 pm, and the show is for ages 14 and over, with under-16s needing to be accompanied by an adult. Standard tickets are £21.00 — a guide price, so it may change — and it's a Sunday night in the North Laine, so there's plenty of the usual neighbourhood around it before and after.
