Emma Kilbey and Steve Hawley celebrate the music and life of Joni Mitchell in this special performance.
If you are a fan of Joni Mitchell’s discography, you might be interested in a series of performances happening later this month at Bom-Bane's. Emma Kilbey and Steve Hawley are putting on a show titled Travelogue, a Joni Mitchell Journey, which focuses on the life and music of the artist. It is essentially a mix of live music and personal stories about Mitchell’s career, travels, and experiences. They have put together a setlist that draws from several of her well-known albums, including Blue, Ladies of the Canyon, For the Roses, Clouds, The Hissing of Summer Lawns, and Hejira.

The performances are scheduled for the 21st, 22nd, and 23rd of May 2026, with each show starting at 20:00. The venue, Bom-Bane's, is located at 24 George Street in Brighton. Tickets for the performance itself are priced at 12ÂŁ. If you are planning to attend on the 21st or 22nd, there is also an option to book a festival menu for an additional 15ÂŁ, which is served at 19:00. Please note that this dining option is not available for the performance on the 23rd.
It is a straightforward setup for anyone who enjoys folk and jazz-influenced music or has followed Mitchell’s work over the years. Since the venue is relatively intimate, it offers a different atmosphere compared to larger concert halls. Whether you are looking to revisit these specific albums or just want to hear some live music in a local setting, these dates in May provide a few opportunities to catch the show.
