A night of live music featuring Thimble, Horsefair and Patrick Circus, presented by Don't Tell at The Hope & Ruin.
Thimble, Horsefair and Patrick Circus play The Hope & Ruin on Sunday 29 November, a night put on by Don't Tell. It's a three-band bill that brings together a local name, a Bristol six-piece and a Brighton outfit, all on the same stage.
Thimble are the youngest of the lot, having formed in late 2025. They've spent the last year and a half working their way through the south England scene with a run of sold-out shows that have pushed past capacity, starting with a rammed debut at Brighton's Rose Hill Tavern before playing the city's Homegrown and Alt-Escape festivals and camping festivals in Cornwall, Gloucester and Kent. In May 2026 they joined Cornish outfit Blind Yeo on a leg of their tour.
Horsefair are a Bristol six-piece led by Kate Francis, whose haunting alto vocals and saxophone blend post-rock, art-punk and grunge with violin, electronics and live sampling. Patrick Circus are a Brighton band known as psychedelic, polyrhythmic, groove-infused sonic boundary pushers. Between them, you've got a Bristol six-piece blending post-rock and grunge with a Brighton band leaning into psychedelic, polyrhythmic grooves, and Thimble, who've spent the last eighteen months playing sold-out rooms across the south.
