The Xcerts celebrate their 10th anniversary of their debut album In The Cold Wind We Smile at Patterns in Brighton.
The Xcerts are playing Patterns on Saturday 23 January 2027, and the night is built around a specific anniversary. They're celebrating ten years since their debut album, In The Cold Wind We Smile, came out, so the set is centred on that record rather than a general best-of.
If you've followed them for a while, you'll know that In The Cold Wind We Smile was the one that put them on the map. It's the record that set their sound — the big, melodic hooks and the loud guitars — and it's where they first found their voice. Ten years on, they're returning to it for this show, which means the songs from that first album get the focus they'd usually share with later material. It's a night for the songs that started it all.

Patterns is right on the seafront at 10 Marine Parade, BN2 1TL, so it's an easy one to get to if you're coming from town or just wandering down by the water. The show starts at 19:00, and it's just The Xcerts on the bill, so you know where the whole evening is headed. Tickets start from £18, and with the venue sitting right on the parade, it's a straightforward trip down to the coast for a Saturday night.
