A tribute performance celebrating the music of The Beatles, featuring authentic equipment and period-accurate costumes.
If you are looking for a bit of nostalgia this summer, The Vox Beatles are bringing their tribute show to our area with two distinct dates scheduled for 2026. The band focuses on recreating the Beatles' catalogue, covering the timeline from their early days at The Cavern in 1962 through to the 1970 Let It Be album. They put a significant amount of effort into the technical side of the performance, using period-accurate equipment like Vox amplifiers and specific guitar models—including Gretsch, Gibson, Rickenbacker, Epiphone, and Hofner—alongside costume changes that reflect the different eras of the band, from the Black Chesterfield suits to the Sgt. Pepper and rooftop looks.

The first opportunity to see them is on 13 June 2026 at The Barn Theatre in Seaford. Tickets for this show are priced at ÂŁ20.00. It is a straightforward venue that works well for this type of performance. A few weeks later, on 2 August 2026, the band will perform at the Brighton Open Air Theatre (BOAT) in Dyke Road Park. For this outdoor show, the pricing structure is slightly different, with tickets available at ÂŁ21.50 for the discounted rate and ÂŁ23.00 for the standard entry. As with most local events, it is worth keeping in mind that these prices are subject to change.
What makes this particular tribute act interesting is their attention to detail regarding the musical arrangements, with a repertoire that spans over 100 songs. Their history in the area is also quite established; they have previously been included in the 'Walk of Fame' at Brighton's Palace Pier and have performed at notable venues like the Cavern Club in Liverpool and Abbey Road Studios. Whether you are a long-time fan of the original music or just looking for a live show in the area, these dates offer a chance to see a production that aims to replicate the sound and aesthetic of the original band as closely as possible.
