An uplifting live music experience celebrating summer anthems with audience games, a 'Best Summer Outfit' prize, and a summer disco until midnight.
The Ultimate Summer Songbook comes to Ironworks Studios on Saturday 15 August, a night built around the summer anthems we all know. It's a live cabaret featuring some of Brighton's finest vocalists, and the set is a run of holiday hits, beach party classics and singalong favourites. The whole thing is presented as a feel-good evening, so it's as much about joining in as it is about listening.
It's not just a concert, either. There are interactive games and audience participation throughout, and a prize for the 'Best Summer Outfit' if you fancy leaning into the theme. The venue is air-conditioned, which is a helpful detail for a mid-August night in the city. The main show runs from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and on this particular date, it's followed by an Ultimate Summer Disco of summer classics that keeps the music going until midnight.
