A one day festival of tarot and oracle wisdom featuring readers, stallholders, talks and workshops.
If you have an interest in tarot and oracle cards, there is a specific event coming up in Brighton that might be worth noting. On Saturday, 18 July 2026, the Saint Augustine’s Arts and Events Centre is hosting The Tarot Fayre. It is a one-day festival dedicated entirely to the practice and study of tarot and oracle wisdom, set within the space of a converted church located near Preston Park.

The event is structured to cover a few different aspects of the craft. Throughout the day, from 10:30 to 17:00, the venue will host a variety of stallholders, including artists who create their own decks, as well as independent creators and readers. The layout allows for browsing and connecting with others who share an interest in these topics. Beyond the stalls, the organisers have scheduled a series of talks and workshops that will take place in the altar room, which provides a distinct setting for these sessions.
Regarding the logistics, there are two ways to access the event depending on what you want to do. If you are primarily interested in visiting the stalls and speaking with the readers, you can reserve a free entry ticket via Eventbrite, though there is a £3 fee payable at the door. However, if you plan to attend the specific talks and workshops, you will need to purchase a full-day ticket, which is available through the event's website. It is a straightforward setup that separates the general browsing experience from the more structured educational sessions, allowing you to choose how you want to spend your time there.
