A live immersive social deduction experience where players act as members of the Council of Vampire Slayers, working together to uncover traitors and solve challenges.
The Slayers is taking over Preston Manor on Saturday 22 August, and again on Saturday 29 August. It's a live immersive social deduction game created by the team behind Pier Pressure Escape Rooms, and the whole thing is set inside the Council of Vampire Slayers. You're cast as a member of that council, but there's a catch: vampires have infiltrated the group. Your job is to work together to figure out who the traitors are, brew holy water, share garlic bread recipes and decide who you can actually trust.
The evening moves between council meetings and interactive challenges across a three-hour session. Alliances form, information is gathered, and suspicious players get 'slayed' along the way, so every game plays out differently. It's a social deduction experience, which means the real game is in the talking, the guessing, and the trying to keep a straight face while you're figuring out who's lying to you.
The team behind it draws inspiration from Blood on the Clocktower, Werewolf, The Traitors, Secret Millionaire and Taskmaster, though they've made it their own—it's an original game and not affiliated with any of those programmes or brands. If you've played any of those before, you'll recognise the setup: a group of people trying to root out a few hidden traitors in their midst.
