Weekly Saturday stand-up night at Artista with MC Ash Frith, Alistair Barrie, Thenjiwe and Steve Hall, a 16+ event with a no-heckling policy.
The Secret Comedy Club is back at Artista on Saturday 28 November, with Ash Frith as MC and a line-up of Alistair Barrie, Thenjiwe, and Steve Hall. It's part of the club's Saturday night run, which runs from 20:00 to 22:30.
If you've never been, Artista is the club's home in Brighton Square, and it's a proper intimate room. It's won the Audience Choice Award for Best Fringe Venue, and it's the only comedy club in the city that works five nights a week — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday — so there's usually something on whenever you fancy it. The Saturday night show is for 16s and over, and they run a strict no-heckling policy to keep things friendly, which is a nice change if you're not in the mood for a rowdy crowd.
Each week brings a new line-up, a different headliner, and a new MC, pairing award-winning comedians from stage and screen with up-and-coming UK circuit names. This particular Saturday puts Ash Frith in charge of the room, with Alistair Barrie, Thenjiwe, and Steve Hall taking the stage. Since the line-up changes every time, you're getting a one-off bill rather than a touring show.

Doors open about an hour before the 20:00 start, and there are no refunds for late arrivals, so it's worth getting there early to grab a seat. A standard ticket is £12.10, and the whole thing runs until 22:30.
