First live recording of The Running Joke podcast, with hosts Esther and Zoe talking about running and walking.
The Running Joke is coming to Komedia on Monday 26 October, for the first ever live recording of the podcast. It's Esther and Zoe taking the show out of the studio and onto the stage, talking about all things running, jogging, plodding and walking.
If you've followed the podcast, you know the territory they cover. It's not just about the serious side of running—the training plans and the PB chasing—but the whole spectrum of moving through the outdoors. They'll be chatting through the running, the jogging, the plodding and the walking, so it works whether you're a regular at the parkrun or someone who just enjoys a proper stroll. The whole thing is aimed at anyone who likes being outdoors and enjoys a giggle.
Because it's a live recording, you'll be part of the episode. The conversation happens in front of the audience rather than behind a microphone in a quiet room, so the energy of the night goes into the recording itself. If you've listened to them before, it's a chance to hear them in person; if you're new to the show, it's a good way to get introduced to it.
