BAFTA-nominated comedian and musician Rachel Parris performs her favourite songs from the last 15 years alongside new stand-up material.
If you have been following Rachel Parris’s work over the last 15 years, whether through her appearances on The Mash Report, Live at the Apollo, or Mock the Week, you might be interested to know she is bringing a new show to Brighton. Titled The Rachel Parris Songbook, the performance is scheduled for 20 February 2027 at the Dome Corn Exchange. It is a bit of a departure from a standard stand-up set, as it focuses on a mix of her musical comedy and new stand-up material.

The show is structured around a selection of her most recognised songs, including tracks like 'Speedy Boarder', 'Girl With A Diamond Finger', 'I Went to the Gym', and 'Hen Doo On A Train'. Parris has designed the set to be interactive, and there is an expectation that the audience will join in with the singing, with some parts of the show potentially featuring a cappella moments. It is essentially a retrospective of her musical career combined with fresh comedy writing.
Regarding the logistics for the evening, the doors at the Dome Corn Exchange open at 19:15, with the show itself starting at 20:00. Tickets are currently priced at £24 and £27. It is worth noting the age guidance for the event, which is recommended for those aged 16 and over. If you are planning to attend with anyone younger, please be aware that those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. It is a straightforward setup for a night of music and comedy, and if you enjoy her specific style of observational humour and musical satire, this date in February might be one to mark on your calendar.
