The Noise Next Door comedy troupe perform off-the-cuff improv comedy with Deborah Frances-White as host.
The Noise Next Door are playing The Forge Comedy Club on Sunday 18 October, as part of the October Unpacked night put on by Funny That Comedy. It's a night of off-the-cuff improv, so there's no script to fall back on — everything is made up on the spot.
The troupe have been doing this for fifteen years, and they've played the Edinburgh Fringe twelve times, selling out every single one. That's a fair bit of time spent thinking on their feet. They've also appeared on The One Show on BBC One, Britain's Got Talent on ITV1, and Roast Battle on Comedy Central, sharing stages with Michael McIntyre, Katherine Ryan and Romesh Ranganathan. They describe the night as off-the-cuff anarchy that throws out the rule book, which is a good way of saying it's the kind of thing that can go anywhere.
Hosting the night is Deborah Frances-White, the voice behind The Guilty Feminist podcast. She's a powerhouse on her own, and here she'll be steering the evening while the troupe works around her. The show runs from 20:00 to 22:30, so it's a full evening's worth of comedy rather than a quick set.

The Forge is a purpose-built comedy room in the Ironworks Studios at 30 Cheapside, BN1 4GD, and it's widely regarded as Brighton's best room for this kind of thing. Tickets are £11.34, and since it's a Sunday night, it's a good way to wind down the weekend with something that doesn't take itself too seriously.
