Live show by The Jacksons, with Jackie and Marlon Jackson and Taryll Jackson, celebrating the music of The Jackson 5.
The Jacksons play the Brighton Centre on Wednesday 24 March 2027, with doors opening at 7pm. The line-up on stage will be Jackie and Marlon Jackson, joined by Taryll Jackson — Tito's son — and vocalist Haydon Eshun. It's a live show that leans on the group's history as much as the music, with iconic choreography and video footage celebrating classic Jackson 5 moments woven throughout.
To get where they are, it helps to look back. The Jacksons started as The Jackson 5, one of the biggest pop phenomena of the early 1970s and the last great group to come out of the Motown machine before it shifted toward solo acts. Discovered in Gary, Indiana, by their father Joe, a former R&B guitarist, the brothers — Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael — made Motown's first number-one pop act with 1969's 'I Want You Back', and their first four singles all reached No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
When they left Motown in 1976, they became The Jacksons, with Randy replacing Jermaine. They hit their stride with the self-produced 1978 album Destiny, and Michael went on to become a global superstar with 1979's Off the Wall and 1982's Thriller. Jermaine rejoined for 1984's Victory, the only album to feature all six brothers, and they reconvened in 1989 for 2300 Jackson Street. The group was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
