A themed night celebrating the iconic Stock Aitken Waterman sound with a cabaret show, pop quiz, and 80s/90s disco.
The Hit Factory- The Best Of Stock Aitken Waterman is taking place at Ironworks Studios in Brighton on Saturday, 20 June 2026. This event focuses on the output of the production trio Mike Stock, Matt Aitken, and Pete Waterman, who were a dominant force in the music industry between 1984 and 1993. During that period, they achieved hundreds of hits on the UK Top 75 and sold millions of records globally. Their signature sound, often labelled as Eurobeat, combined hi-NRG production techniques with romantic lyrics and Italo disco melodies. If you’re familiar with their catalogue, you’ll recognise tracks like Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley and I Should Be So Lucky by Kylie Minogue, which are central to the legacy being celebrated here.

The programme for the night is divided into three main sections. It starts with a cabaret show hosted by Paul Diello, which features a lineup of Brighton-based vocalists performing tributes and covers of the SAW catalogue. After the cabaret, the focus shifts to a pop music quiz covering the 80s and 90s, where attendees can compete for prizes based on their knowledge of the era. The final part of the evening is a disco held in the bar, which will feature a curated selection of hits from artists such as Bananarama, Mel & Kim, and other acts associated with the production team.
The event schedule is set for 20:00 to 22:30 for the main show, with an interval included, followed by the disco session in the bar from 22:30 until midnight. Tickets for the evening are priced between £11.53 and £11.55. The venue is located at 30 Cheapside, Brighton, BN1 4GD. Please note that there is a 16+ age restriction in place, and all attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. It’s a focused evening for those interested in the specific pop sound that defined a significant portion of the UK charts during the late 80s and early 90s.
