The Haunted Objects of Snoopers Paradise

The Haunted Objects of Snoopers Paradise runs from Saturday 24 October to Friday 31 October at Snoopers Paradise, the antiques centre at 7 & 8 Kensington Gardens in Brighton. It turns the whole place into a giant scavenger hunt: you follow a trail of supposedly haunted vintage objects hidden throughout the shop, each with its own peculiar story. Some are about unexplained happenings, others about unfortunate former owners, and a few are pieces that perhaps should have been left exactly where they were found.

The objects themselves are real vintage finds, while their haunted histories may be somewhat less reliable. As you work your way through, you gather clues along the way and solve a final mystery for a chance to win a £25 voucher. It's the kind of thing that gives you a proper excuse to spend a few hours getting lost in the aisles, stopping to read the stories behind the things you'd usually just walk past.

Because it runs for eight days, you've plenty of time to fit it in. On Saturday 24 October, it's open 10:00-18:00, and Sunday 25 October 11:00-17:00. From Monday 27 October through to Friday 31 October, it's 10:00-18:00 every day. It's free to take part, so you can just turn up whenever suits you best.
