The Great 80s & 90s One Hit Wonder Songbook

Paul Diello brings The Great 80s & 90s One Hit Wonder Songbook to Ironworks Studios on Friday 18 September, with his eight-piece band behind him. It's a night built around the one-hit wonders of two decades, running from the neon glow of the 80s through to the grunge vibe of the 90s.

Diello and the band curate a run of those songs that defined a generation — the ones that stayed in the head long after the artist vanished from the charts. They're the tunes that still echo in people's memories, and the show is designed to bring them back. The set spans the shift from the synth-heavy 80s to the grittier 90s, so it covers a fair bit of ground.

There's a bit of history to the show, too. This version comes after a sell-out run of the same title, and that success is what led Diello to write an entirely new live show devoted to movie soundtracks. So this is a return to the one-hit wonder format that started it all.

It runs from 20:00 to 22:30 at Ironworks Studios, 30 Cheapside, Brighton, BN1 4GD. Standard tickets are £16.93, which is a guide price and subject to change.
