The Forge Comedy Club Friday

The Forge Comedy Club Friday returns to The Forge on Friday 25 September, with Andrew Maxwell, Nick Page and Ravi Saini taking the stage. They're joined by one more act yet to be announced, and Alexander Bennett is on MC duties to hold the night together. It's a full bill of stand-up, so you'll get a good few sets across the evening rather than just one name.

The Forge is a state-of-the-art room that books big names alongside rising stars, and it's picked up a fair few awards along the way: Chortle's Best Comedy Venue 2024, Best Pro Comedy Night 2023 (South), and Comic's Comic Best Promoter 2022, as well as a Tripadvisor Traveller's Choice Award 2025. It sits right in the middle of Brighton & Hove's stand-up and alternative cabaret scene, which also includes Komedia, The Old Market, and the city's open-mic and drag nights, all of which build up to the Brighton Festival in May and the Brighton Fringe.

If you're planning to eat before the show, keep in mind that fresh pizzas are served at the bar with a 7.45pm cut-off, so you'll want to get your order in early if you're arriving close to the start. The night runs from 20:00 to 22:30, and standard tickets are £7.09 guide price. The Forge is at Ironworks Studios 30, Cheapside, Brighton, BN1 4GD.
