Concert by British garage rock group The Fallen Leaves, with support from Brighton post-punk act Fractured, at The Prince Albert.
The Fallen Leaves play The Prince Albert on Sunday 21 March, with support from Fractured. It's a matinee, starting at 14:00, and the whole thing is presented by Bizarro Promotions.
The Fallen Leaves are a British garage rock group that formed in Richmond, South West London, in 2004. They were founded by Rob Symmons on dustbin guitar and Rob Green on vocals, with Paul Myers on bass. The current line-up adds drummer Ian O'Sullivan, formerly of The Aardvarks, and bassist Barry Frost. They bill themselves as 'Punk Rock for Gentlemen' and trace their roots back to The Subway Sect, with a sound they describe as sitting somewhere between The Who and The Ramones. On this date, they'll be showcasing their album Simple Songs for Complex People.
There's a fair bit of punk history behind the names. Rob Green built his reputation singing at Bernie Rhodes' legendary Club Left and playing with Vic Godard's Subway Sect at the Music Machine in 1980, while Symmons was the original guitarist and founder of Subway Sect from 1976 to 1978. Support comes from Fractured, a spiky, melodic Brighton post-punk act whose tunes Attila the Stockbroker has described as 'Magazine meets The Fall at a Nightingales gig'.

Tickets are £13.20, which includes the booking fee, and the music kicks off at 14:00 on Sunday 21 March at The Prince Albert, 48 Trafalgar Street, Brighton, BN1 4ED.
