Monthly over-18s reggae dance party with Roots, Ska, Rocksteady and Lovers Rock, presented by local reggae vocal duo The Tribulizations.
The Brighton Moon-Hop is back at Komedia on Saturday 28 November, the latest edition of Brighton's new reggae dance party. It's a monthly club night held in The Studio, right in the heart of the North Laine, and this one is presented by local reggae vocal duo The Tribulizations.
The night is built around the best of reggae, roots, ska, rocksteady and lovers rock, so you'll hear a fair bit of ground covered across the set. It's a standing club night, which means it's more about the dancefloor than the seated concert experience, and it's for ages 18 and over. The Tribulizations are the ones behind it, and they're a local duo, so the whole thing is run by people who know the city's scene.
Komedia itself has been Brighton's live entertainment venue for just under 30 years, and The Studio is one of its smaller, more intimate spaces. Being in the North Laine puts it right in the thick of the independent shops and pubs, so it's an easy spot to get to if you're already around that part of town.
