Indie rock band The Big Moon perform live at Concorde 2 in Brighton, presenting their new album 'Forever'.
The Big Moon are playing Concorde 2 on Monday 23 November, as part of their UK tour. They're a London indie rock quartet fronted by Juliette Jackson, and this is their fourth studio album, Forever, released through Fiction Records.
There's a bit of a story behind the record. During the writing, Jackson was diagnosed with a cholesteatoma — a benign but destructive cyst in the ear that left her with permanent hearing loss on one side. She's spoken about how she wrote the songs by projecting herself into a healed and happier future, and the lead single, 'Gravity', comes from a similar place: it's about an unbreakable kind of love, inspired by the bond with her son. Bassist Celia Archer has described the songs on the album as 'alt-pop gems full of hooks'.

It's been a few years since their last one, Here Is Everything, which came out in 2022 and got a fair bit of praise for its bright, emotive sound. Forever marks their return to the stage with new material to play live, and this Brighton date is one of the stops on the tour. Tickets start at £30.
