The Album Era performs Black Sabbath's 1970 album Paranoid in its entirety, with fancy dress encouraged for this Halloween concert.
The Album Era are playing Komedia on Friday 30 October, with Black Sabbath's Paranoid as the set. It's a Jam Soup Music production, and the night is billed as a special Halloween concert, so fancy dress is very much encouraged.
The first half is the album played in full, from start to finish. Paranoid came out in 1970 and helped define the early days of heavy metal, with tracks like 'War Pigs', 'Iron Man' and 'Electric Funeral' all on there. The second half moves on to Sabbath and Ozzy classics, including 'Into the Void' and 'Crazy Train'.
The band works differently from a typical tribute act: no wigs or costumes, just the album played through with attention to the original sounds and studio effects. The musicians are a collective from across the UK, including classically trained players from Guildhall, Leeds Conservatoire and Trinity Laban.

It's a standing show for ages 14 and over, with under-16s needing to be accompanied by an adult. Doors open at 7:30 pm, and tickets are £18.
