Glasgow pop-rock band Texas play The Brighton Centre on their UK and European tour marking the 30th anniversary of their album 'White on Blonde'.
Texas are playing the Brighton Centre on Tuesday 26 October 2027, part of a UK and European tour marking 30 years since the release of their fourth album, White on Blonde.
If you're not familiar with the record, it came out in February 1997, went six times platinum in the UK, and produced five top-ten singles, including 'Say What You Want' and 'Black Eyed Boy'. Lead singer Sharleen Spiteri remembers making it at her house in Glasgow, with her vocals tracked in a coat cupboard, and describes the band's approach as 'We will play our own tune'. The tour goes alongside a remastered anniversary reissue of the album and a new single, 'Another Way To Cry'.
Texas are a Glasgow pop-rock band formed in 1986 by Spiteri and Johnny McElhone. Over more than 30 years they've sold over 40 million records, scored 13 top-ten UK singles, three number-one UK albums, and eight top-ten albums. They're often described as one of Scotland's best ever bands and a national treasure south of the border.
