gupi headlines a queer hyperpop night at Komedia Studio on Friday 20 November, presented by Sweat. It's a standing club night for ages 18+, and the lineup is one of the biggest the venue has put together so far.
gupi is an American DJ and producer, best known for their work on food house. In their free time, they make rave edits inspired by the internet genres they grew up around — nightcore, breakbeats and brostep — and that's the kind of sound they'll be bringing to the night. They're joined by Sweat residents BIGBUSH and PLASTIC, and Brighton's own P!$$, DJGIRLFAG and STREETDOGBABYANGEL, so it's a full run of DJs rather than just one headliner. The whole thing is billed as a queer hyperpop party, and it's a standing night, so it's built for dancing rather than watching from a seat.

Komedia Studio is a Brighton institution and a favourite local club-night venue, and this is one of its biggest lineups to date. Doors open at 11:00 pm, and tickets are £10.00.
