A festive Elvis tribute show by Ivor Potter, featuring a Vegas-style performance with a six-piece band and a three-course Christmas meal.
Suspiciously Elvis is back at Komedia on Monday 21 December, this time as a Christmas Special. The name belongs to tribute artist Ivor Potter, and the show takes you back to one of Elvis's Vegas residencies from the early 1970s. He comes out in rhinestone-clad glory, complete with the King's accent and those iconic dance moves, backed by a slick six-piece band and backing vocalists. The whole thing runs for around two hours, and it's billed as outshining other Elvis tributes; The Sun's Katie Weitz called it 'sheer brilliance... magic!'.
What makes this a Christmas Special is the meal. A three-course festive dinner is included in the ticket, which your party pre-orders in advance, so you're eating before the show kicks off. The room is set up with cabaret seating, and tables are allocated on arrival, which makes it a bit more of a night out than just a standard gig — something to book for a group rather than just turning up on your own.
