White released his first solo album on Acid Jazz in March 2026, and this is a live look at that material. He describes the record as a tribute to his jazz routes and cinematic influences, and it includes a reimagining of 'My Ever Changing Mood', a Style Council track. If you've followed his work with Weller or The Style Council, this is a chance to hear him stepping out from the kit and leading his own session.
The night is a live jazz session, so it's about the music rather than a big production. The trio is White, Hague and Joel White, and the set will draw from the new solo album and the jazz and soul influences that run through it. It's a night for anyone who likes jazz and soul, and it's aimed at an adult and young adult crowd.
Tickets are £20 for a standard entry when bought online. The session runs from 19:30 to 23:00 at The Hope & Ruin, 10-12 Queens Road, BN1 3WA.
