Punk rock band Split Dogs perform live at Patterns in Brighton, supported by Bruise Control.
Split Dogs play Patterns on Thursday 25 February, with doors opening at 19:00. They arrive in Brighton on the back of a relentless touring schedule: 90 shows across the UK and Europe in 2025, playing to more than 30,000 people, including 22 festival appearances and a sold-out headline night at the Empress Ballroom at Blackpool Winter Gardens. They've shared stages with Gogol Bordello, Stiff Little Fingers, Pigs Pigs Pigs and Bad Nerves.
Their second album, NICE N' ROUGH, came out on 25 September 2026 via Venn Records, recorded at Station House in Leeds and produced by Jonah Falco. It follows their debut, HERE TO DESTROY, which sold more than 3,000 vinyls and CDs independently and charted in three Official UK Album Charts. The two records mark the ground they've covered so far, and this show will draw on both.
Support comes from Bruise Control, a DIY punk outfit they describe as sitting somewhere between 00s indie and 80s hardcore, known for self-produced releases and chaotic live shows led by singer Jim Taylor. The night is presented by Lout Promotions and is strictly over-18s.
