A three-day Individual Stableford tournament for 96 golfers rotating across East Brighton, Seaford, and Seaford Head courses.
The South Coast Challenge Golf Tournament is set to take place from 18th to 20th August 2026, offering a structured three-day competition across some of the most well-known local courses. The event uses an Individual Stableford format and moves between Seaford, Seaford Head, and East Brighton Golf Club. With 96 spots available, the organisers divide the players into three groups of 32, ensuring that every participant gets to play each of the three courses over the three days. The whole thing starts with a welcome meeting on the evening of 17th August at 18:00 at the East Brighton Golf Club, which serves as the initial base for the week.

The daily schedule is consistent, with tee times and play running from 11:00 until 16:00. To take part, you’ll need to have a valid CDH (Central Database of Handicaps) and meet the handicap requirements, which are capped at 24 for men and 36 for women. Since we are now past the January early bird window, the standard entry fee is £189, though members of the East Brighton Golf Club are still eligible for the £169 rate. This entry cost covers the three rounds of golf and the final awards dinner, which is scheduled for the evening of 20th August at Seaford Golf Club.
The tournament is designed to reward both consistency and individual daily performance. There are prizes for the top scorers of each round, but the main focus for many will be the overall championship title, which is decided by the total points accumulated across all three venues. It’s a fairly comprehensive way to spend a few days on the greens, especially for those who enjoy the variety of playing different terrains in quick succession. If you're looking to sign up or need to check the specific rules and conditions, all the administration is handled via www.sccgt.co.uk, with the final deadline for entries falling on 31st July.
