Stand-up comedy show by Sindhu Vee, a comedian known for her work on Sex Education and Matilda the Musical.
Sindhu Vee brings her stand-up show Swanky to the Brighton Dome on Saturday 20 March 2027, as part of her UK tour. It's a night of stand-up from a comic who's spent as much time on the panel show circuit as she has on the stage, so if you've caught her on the telly, this is the chance to see her do a full hour of her own material.

Swanky is built around a few things that most of us spend a fair bit of time thinking about: falling through the gaps you didn't even make, avoiding the friendships you don't actually want, and embracing the self-love you definitely need. It's the kind of stuff that sounds like a self-help book until it's put through a comedy filter, and from the description, that's exactly where the jokes come from. The Evening Standard called her stand-up "outspoken, frank and funny", which gives you a good sense of the tone she goes for.
If her name doesn't ring a bell, you've probably seen her anyway. She's a regular on QI, Have I Got News For You and Would I Lie To You, and she's had roles in Netflix series like Sex Education and Matilda the Musical. She was also nominated for an Edinburgh Comedy Award, so she's not exactly a newcomer to the circuit. The show is presented by Plosive Live in association with PBJ Management.
It starts at 19:30, and tickets are £30, with Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival members saving £2. It's aimed at adults and young people, and it's suitable for ages 14 and over, with under-14s not allowed in without an adult.
