An intimate acoustic tribute to the music of Simon & Garfunkel and their solo careers, featuring local performers.
Simon & Garfunkel - A Celebration is coming to Ironworks Studios in Brighton this July, offering an acoustic look at the catalogue of the famous duo. The show is designed as an intimate tribute, focusing on the songwriting and vocal harmonies that defined the pair's work. It does not just stick to the classic hits; the programme also incorporates material from their respective solo careers, aiming to provide a comprehensive view of their musical output. The performers describe the show as a journey through the songs that have defined generations, relying on acoustic arrangements to highlight the composition of the tracks. By stripping back the production, the show aims to place the emphasis squarely on the vocal interplay and the lyrical content that made the original records so distinct.

The line-up for these performances includes Paul Diello, Mike Bickers, Night House, Ry Byron, and Lucy Pickering. They have scheduled three separate dates at the venue, located at 30 Cheapside, BN1 4GD. The first performance takes place on Friday 10 July 2026, running from 20:00 until 22:30, with doors opening at 19:00. If that does not suit, there is a second evening show on Saturday 11 July 2026 starting at 19:50. For those who prefer a daytime slot, there is also a matinee performance on Tuesday 15 July 2026, running from 11:00 to 13:00. Each of these sessions lasts approximately two hours and thirty minutes, which includes an interval.
Tickets for the event are £14.23. If you are planning to attend, keep in mind that the event is for those aged 14 and over, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The organisers have a no-refund policy in place, so it is worth confirming your plans before booking. It is a straightforward setup at the studio, and given the nature of the acoustic performance, it should be a focused environment for the music.
