Multi-award-winning comedian Sergi Polo brings his show 'LIVE in Brighton' to Komedia, featuring sharp wit and storytelling in both Spanish and English performances.
Sergi Polo is bringing his stand-up show to Komedia on 19 April 2026. He’s originally from Barcelona but has spent quite a bit of time performing on big stages like The Comedy Store in London and The Comedy Cellar in New York. His style is mostly built around storytelling and observational humour, and he’s picked up a few awards along the way for his work. Since the show is happening in the Komedia Studio, it’ll be a bit more of an intimate setting compared to the bigger productions we usually see passing through Brighton, allowing for a closer look at the sharp wit he’s known for.

There are actually two different shows happening that Sunday, which is quite a specific arrangement for the venue. The first one is a matinee entirely in Spanish, with doors opening at 16:30 for a 17:00 start. Then, later that evening, he’s doing a second set in English, where doors open at 19:00 and the show begins at 19:30. It’s a bit of a unique setup, but it reflects his experience performing across different countries and languages. Both sessions are being held in the basement space, which usually has a pretty laid-back feel, though it is important to note that these performances are strictly for those aged 18 and over.
Tickets are priced at £16.00 for either show, and the event is described as a sell-out show in other locations, so it’s an established part of his current tour. One thing to remember about the Studio is that seating is unreserved, so it’s first-come, first-served. If you’re particular about where you sit, it’s probably worth getting there when the doors open to find a good spot. If the April date doesn’t fit your schedule, there’s also another performance listed for later in the year on 1 November 2026 at 19:00. It’s a good opportunity to see an international comedian with a solid track record without having to head up to London.
